Casitas could be coming to your neighborhood, following a highly anticipated City Council vote Wednesday . But, depending on where you live, they might already be there.
Albuquerque City Council is set to discuss a change to the zoning code, or Integrated Development Ordinance.

The measure would, among other changes, open more of the city’s residential areas to the development of casitas, or accessory dwelling units, in an effort to increase the city’s pinched housing stock.
